We bought this for our 6 month old granddaughter because we are Italian and make homemade Italian meals all the time! Although she is too young to play with this as intended (and we have removed all the small objects), she loves to play with the spoon and fork and bang the pots and bowls! The colors really catch her attention and she has a lot of fun with it. She will grow with this toy and it will be just a blink of an eye before she is making her Nonna pasta dinners with it!

We got this as a gift. It's really well made and great for practicing how to twirl spaghetti on a fork, but some suggestions: 1st: more than one plate and fork would be great so siblings can make and share a meal without fighting; 2nd: farfalle not bow ties. 3rd: we added pompom meatballs. Note: the set we got doesn't have penne, salt, spinach, butter or cooktop/sink mat.
