I have had this phone for only a couple of months and have had many problems with it. The constant need to keep charging it gets annoying. The fact you can't hear anything on it and always needs to have headphones is annoying. But the biggest thing that makes this phone garbage is the fact that when the screen gets turned off it never comes back on unless you pull the battery out. My phone is still like brand new. I still have the screen protector that was on it from out of the box. So no one can say I have been hard on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using cell phones forever needed the Empire formy work the8 version. Well in a freak accident last night the screen got cracked big time, even with the plastic that it comes with from the factory, today I went all over Orlando looking to repair, no Empire Screens any where, buy a new phone oh PLEASE, can not afford to. the glas is rather sharp to when cracked, I really liked this phone version of LG phones

I have to charge it all the time

I have had the phone for 3 weeks now. It won't hold a charge. Of course I tried to return it to boost - I hate them.
Now I just pack up the original cord and the original plug every time I put the phone in my purse so I can make sure the amps etcs match.
I have 4 pictures on the phone. I don't use Waze or instagram. Yet I go from 100% to 12% in 4 hours max.
Poor design. I can't hear on the phone unless I have it on speaker because there must be a mic on the side that my hand is covering when I hold the phone to my face. The speaker is on the back so if I set the phone on speaker and lay it on a flat surface, the other party can't hear me. Poor deisgn.

I'm still learning so much. it's an overall exxcelant_ce* device. it's helping me understand how to maximize my purpose not just be a device to let my mind idle. I can be happier. Are there ways to get specific devices modified. like the fingerprint recognition. or maybe little cushions to hold battery in place made of rubber soft rubber shock absorbers between each platform or compacted circuitry.. other than that and fairytale resin. this is by far one of the most amazing devices I've had. hydro and hydro2 by keyocera with the keyboard in sunburst orange/red was the best. but while my life was simple. thank you LG. & LGE.

A good cheap bridge to 5G

My LG740 Volt works just fine, but it run 4.4.1 Kit Kat. Had to upgrade to get current apps
5G will be here next year. I didn't want an expensive phone for just one year.
For $50 this phone works fine.
It's fast enough for normal phone work. Not a gamer, or great video phone.
It doesn't have a 5" screen as advertised.
It has soft control buttons-not good.
Android 8.1 Oreo kinda sucks.
It's limited to 32GB micro SD cards, why?
