10 years with no buying batteries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The First Alert PR7 ...10 year battery Slim Smoke Detector was very easy to install. It actually fit right in the same spot where the old one was. It's nice to know that the 10 year battery will protect my family for years. I like that it has a photoelectric sensor to help keep us safe. It will save us ten years of buying batteries as well as climbing up on a ladder....of which my husband and I are both too old to do. All it took was two simple screws and then we were done. Recommend for all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very pleased with the First Alert Smoke Alarm. The installation was very easy and the slim design looks much better than bulky smoke alarms. What I like the most is the battery is a 10 year battery so you don’t have to worry about replacing them every year or forgetting to replace them. It also has an end of life warning so you’ll know when to replace and it has two sensors a photoelectric sensor and a ionization sensor to pick up the different types of smoke particles. I’m really happy with this smoke alarm and will be replacing all my smoke alarms with the First Alert 10 year battery model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say....our First Alert PR710 10-Year battery powered slim smoke detector with photoelectric Sensor was super easy to install. It came with all hardware needed for installation and we really like the low profile design. It was simple to install and hopefully we'll never need to see how well it works! If it ever is needed, no doubt it will get you up in a hurry. The alarm is extremely loud and certainly will get your attention in a hurry...which is just what you need in those type of situations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quality smoke alarm. The ones I have had in the past had to be disabled because they were constantly going off. This one doesn’t go off every time you cook anything. No false alarms which is fantastic since they’re loud! It has a very long battery life as well so you don’t have to worry about frequently replacing them (supposed to be 10 years). I really like that it has a slimmer appearance then my previous ones, so it’s not bulky and ugly! Seems to be holding up well and doing us good so far! Would recommend. It was also super easy to set up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The First Alert PR710 10-Year Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detector with Photoelectric Sensor so far is working with no issues, I took a chance on this Smoke detector and as of now there are no issues, was very easy to install as the package had the mounting brackets, hardware, and directions.... I love the fact it has a 10 year battery life (lets hope it last the long).... as well it is slim shape and not fat and gaudy like the old detectors...As well the color matches any color that you may have/need....

This replaced an older detector that needed batteries every year. One of the features that I love is that it has a 10 year battery inside. The slim design and peace of mind for so many years are great reasons to own this. Never having to worry about changing batteries, while simple, was the primary reason that I chose this brand. There is a red blinking light that indicates to you that the smoke detector is working properly.

So you know what the alarm even sounds like. Super easy, nice sleek design. I love that it's a 10 year battery with no battery chirp. This is a great product, that everyone should have. Highly recommend it's very important to have this I'm your home. Keep you and your family safe with this awesome smoke alarm. That has photoelectric smoke sensor which I think is also wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to get a new detector for my house since one of mine had gone on the blink. I decided to try out this First Alert due to the great battery life and peace of mind that comes with knowing it is silently waiting to do its job but hopefully never needed. Was easy to install in a matter of minutes with the provided instructions. I chose wall installation for this one.I plan to begin replacing all my existing older units with this model now because you can never be too safe when you comes to your family and your own well being
