[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so excited to have this detector that I can take with us for traveling and use in our own home. It comes with screws so that you can attach it to a wall if you'd like to but you can also just set it on your counter. It chirped loudly when I first turned it on but after that it didn't make any noise. The directions show you where the best place in your home is to put the detector and where other safety detectors should be placed. It was easy to turn on and get set up so I hope it continues to be easy to use and help us stay safe!

Very easy to operate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The First Alert Detector is very easy to operate with a clear display. The testing button worked as described with a very loud beeping that was heard all over the house. It would definitely wake everyone in the house. I love the secure feeling knowing that we will be safe. I also like that the display shows the temperature in the house. We installed it on the wall in the living room where it can easily be seen. It is easy to operate and came on upon taking it out of the packaging and is well made of a sturdy plastic material . I would recommend this to family and friends.

Great peace of mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the First Alert CO710 Carbon Monoxide Detector with Digital Temperature Display to have a peaceful mind. The setup was extremely easy. All you really have to do is turn it on. I love that it’s long lasting. The batteries are supposed to last ten years. I love that it’s portable and does not have to be plugged in. You can put it anywhere you want, you’re not limited since it’s completely battery operated. It seems to be working just fine. I hope I never have to hear the beeping alarm. I like there’s different sequences of beeps for different things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a carbon monoxide detector is a must in any household. This past winter we had a carbon monoxide issue with our furnace. I was reminded how important it is to have one on each floor of the home. This First Alert CO2 detector is perfect for any room. I love how fast and easy it is to set up. Plus, you have the ability to mount it with the included hardware or set it on a shelf or table, anywhere you choose. I chose not to mount mine to the wall, but rather put it on a bedroom dresser for easy access. If you have a family and want a reliable and trusted brand for protection, I highly recommend this unit. The easy to read display and 10-year battery life make it a great choice!

THE FACT THAT THE FIRST ALERT CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR HAS A TEMPERATURE DISPLAY IS SO CONVENTANT FOR ME BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER HAD A TEMPERTURE DISPLAY IN MY HOUSE BEFORE. I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT I NEVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT CARBON MONOXIDE TESTING BEFORE I GOT THE FIRST ALERT CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR WITH DIGITAL TEMPERTURE DISPLAY. I CAN HONESTLY SLEEP BETTER KNOWING THAT MY FAMILY IS TOTALLY PROTECTED NOW. I HIGHLY RECOMMENED THAT EVERY HOUSEHOLD GET THE FIRST ALERT CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR WITH DIGITAL TEMPERTURE DISPLAY. Great Carbon Monoxide Detector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this First Alert CO710 Carbon Monoxide Detector with 10-Year Battery and Digital Temperature Display. It comes with a battery that lasts ten years, which is also the life of the Carbon Monoxide detector itself. The design is great for travel and you can just set it on any table or mantle. I like the fact that it doesn’t have to be hung up. You don’t have to jump through hoops to set this up, it’s as simple as turning it on. It has an 85 decibel alarm, and I’m sure it would wake me up from a deep sleep. I also like how easy this is to carry with you, it’s great for taking to a motel room. I also like how the temperature is displayed as well, and I’ve checked it. It coordinates with my thermostat. You can push a button on top so a blue light is backlit and makes it easy to see. Overall, this is the best carbon monoxide detector that I’ve ever owned and I definitely recommend it.

The system itself is very user friendly and so far it seems to work great. The display is very clear and easy to read and seems accurate for the temperature in the room. This has been my first time living in a house that I have to be worried about Carbon Monoxide so this detector was a simple way for me to have a little extra peace of mind. I recommend.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this model because it didn’t have to be mounted to a wall. It can be, but it can also just sit on a flat surface. Great for rentals or if you just want to move it around. It is easy to set up, just a switch on the back. Display tells you when there is an alarm as well as the sound alarm. Displays a temperature when not alarming so it is useful in that way also. It can be a thermometer that you can move room to room. Alarm is nice and loud but sounds like a smoke alarm. I wish it had a different tone, but that’s the only downside I see.
