My kids are 8 and 10 and this is very helpful to them to keep track of the day and learn about different holidays. I also like how they can use the emojis to express their feelings which will open the line of communication about that. I'm upset that we lost some of the pieces, but if I have to, I will purchase the entire thing again!

It's cute, but the magnets aren't strong and they need more blank ones to personalize it. There isn't an activity piece for school or church. Hopefully the magnets won't start falling off.

How about adding Veterans Day and Fathers Day?

This is a super cute calendar and I do love it. I did notice there is no magnet for Veterans Day. I live in the USA and there is a magnet for Canada Day so maybe for US consumers replace that with Veterans Day. Many men and women are vets and have sacrificed much; they deserve to have a magnet. Additionally there is a Mothers Day but not a Fathers Day magnet. Why? Our household LOVES Melissa and Doug products so I just wanted to make those two suggestions and supply y'all with my feedback. Thanks and Happy Veterans Day!

The pieces began with 2021, so we leave the year blank. The chart has many different manipulatives, including the date, month, weather, days of the week, seasons, appointments, how you feel that day, etc.
