Great product, but as usual, one small issue

The set is awesome and my Grandbabies love it. Melissa and Doug products are for the most part, always spot on- but the last few things I have ordered seem to always have just some small issue. This time it was the erasable marker. It was dried up and did not write.

Granddaughter five years old and I pretending she just opened a restaurant. We alternate where she is the cook and I am the waitress. The customers are either her dolls or stuffed animals. Of course they all love the food and recommend the restaurant to others!

My grandson (4 yrs) really misses going to restaurants during this pandemic and says he wants to open his own restaurant someday. This is cute and he loves it but seriously- 2 different foods on on piece? You can't "serve" steak and fries because they're in opposite sides! Also-just one place setting?!?! Are there accessory kits available?

I ordered the Star Diner Play set for the diner we were given. So well made! My grandson loves the Diner Play Set! He is 2 1/2 and all I hear is Grandma let's play Diner! Let's play restaurant! He loves serving me and me serving him! Food is well made and the milkshake cup and coffee pot are his favorites! Great variety to keep him busy! Love it!

I bought this for my grandkids last Christmas. My 5 year-old grandson loves to take turns being the "cooker" and then the customer. My granddaughter, almost 2, loves to pretend to eat the food. I bought a pad of customer tickets so my grandson could practice writing and he loves to be able to tare the ticket from the pad. I love playing with it too!

This set pairs perfectly with the Star Diner. All the pieces included are very clever. The bell dings. There's a plastic "receipt" with a washable dry-erase marker w/eraser. All the play food is dual-sided, so each side is a different food. The menu perfectly matches the play food items. There are inserts for the milkshakes and coffee/hot chocolate so your kid can change the drink. Many more pieces - it may seem a bit expensive, but there are a ton of items and well worth the price!
My kids had the Star Diner for about a week without this set, and we made do with random "kitchen" items we already had. They play with the diner way more now that they have the accessories.
