Better than the iPad

I own both an iPad and the Note 10.1, and I prefer the Samsung because of the S-Pen, dual screen, and overall versatility.
I also enjoy having front facing stereo speakers for watching shows.

Even though the industry seems for a moment to be leaning toward the 7 and 8 inch screens, I want to yell from the highest mountain... "Don't do IT!" The Galaxy 10.1 is THE way to go. Thin, sleek it performs like a race horse on the home stretch and it knows it's in the lead. Touch sensitivity is excellent and option available make this THE tablet to own. Respectfully submitted.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great touch control

S Pen is the bomb!

I am a big fan of the note series. .. I have the note 3 and it is my favorite phone out right now and the tablets are no exception. .. Love the pen and the features that come with the pen... A lot of features this tablet has tablets new on the market now still don't have like multi window... A PEN! Operates nice and smooth and the front facing speakers are awsome too... Great for consuming media which is really what we all do with tablets.... Great screen aswell and the tablet really does look sleek... I'm ready to get the new note 12.1 now... If it's a note series I want it!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, has the s pen (stylus), more features than most competition. .
Cons: all plastic build, newer note tablets are out now as of this review.., could use a update from jellybean to kit kat..

Excellent Product

I was first introduced to the Samsung family of products with a smartphone. So when the need for a tablet presented itself, there was no decision to be made. And my intuition served me well. The Samsung Galaxy tablet proves to be more valuable everyday. The screen is extremely sharp and easy-to-use. The keyboard is very easy to navigate. It is lightweight so it isn't cumbersome or awkward to carry. It has an excellent battery life. All around it is a great product. I would recommend this tablet to anyone. I know I don't regret this purchase. So I give it a score of 5 out
of 5 stars in every category.

strange design

i'm a fan of the front facing speakers but the placement of the headphone jack, lock and volume buttons are problematic for the case they made for it. beyond that i have been extremely disappointing in the lack of updates supplied to the device, its sub par multitasking capability and build quality. its plastic. which is nice for cost and weight but not for support of the charger port which fails intermittently because the plastic supporting the plug was weak and failed under use. they havent put out an update for this device in ages. they only released kitkat for its 3g twin which is almost as irritating as samsung's rolling updates and bloatware. the bloat wear for this device is awful. snote is the only stock app i seem to make use of and it is in severe need of the updates as well. long story short, this device suffers from sub-par design, crippling bloatware and generally mediocre implements, im tired of resetting this device to make it functional and would have really liked to be able to use it for more than just taking notes as if all it is is a digital notepad.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, bloatware, no updates, weak processing power
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this tablet to use on a trip to Europe, to take pictures, videos, and to make SKYPE calls daily to our family. It always performed beautifully. Now I use it every day for multitasking: emails, browsing, games, and so on!

This product is the tablet amongst tablets. I also own an IPAD mini and I enjoy the ease of using the tablet over the IPAD. The tablet downloads faster and the memory for a 16g is excellent. There are a lot of tablets in the market but this one is the best of them all. Its so easy a 5 year can use it and show you how to use it as well.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def
