This fit the existing opening in my granite perfectly, so no cutting was necessary. This stovetop is wonderful to cook on. I didn’t realize how poorly my old one was until we started to use the Frigidaire stove top. Will be purchasing dishwasher and microwave in the fall and will purchase Frigidaire products. Highly recommend!
