Great Cooktop

Like so many others my glass top cracked

I have read many complaints about the cooktop cracking. I still selected this cooktop becasuse of the fifth super element which I loved but I feel this is the problem. The glass top is under designed for the heat.
Well mine cracked as well in less than a year.
I am a professional Chef, so I know good equipment and this is
not designed for real cooks !

Great cooktop that our family has thoroughly enjoyed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooktop was very easy to install. Simply disconnected power, removed the old unit(I did need to use a jig saw to create a slightly larger opening), reconnected power, and set in place (there are safety brackets that are required to be installed in order to meet code). Entire process took less than two hours. New cooktop cleans much more easily and is much more easier to use. I would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am very pleased with my new cooktop. It replaced a 30-year old model and the difference is night and day. The first thing I noticed is I am able to slow cook a meal, such as spaghetti sauce, on the stove for hours without burning it. I can adjust the temperature to what best suits, even in between numbers. It cleans easily using a cleanser made specifically for a glass cooktop. I'm very happy with the purchase and wish I'd done it years ago.

It fit perfectly in my counter top and preserved the utility of my under cook too cabinet drawer. All other cool tips on the market had too much height. We were further rewarded with a beautiful and we'll performing unit, so we are very happy indeed.
