Not Designed For Maintenance

The only way to access the filter is to remove the back panel of the washer, navigate through the wires and plugs, and then you can access the filter. The only way to to drain out the smelly water, is to pull out the washer drain hose on the back of the machine. Both of which have now been completed by our appliance repairman because we were getting a SD error code after three years of use. For the price point, go with another brand like LG where you can maintain the machine monthly without a repairman and a huge bill! The buttons are also very sensitive if bumped. There isn't a "Delay of Wash" button either which I miss.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Annoying bells

My combo is a bit older of a model, three years old.
It looks like the digital display is a little bit different, so hopefully this issue was fixed!
With mine, I have stacked them. Every time you reach up to remove something from the dryer or put something in the dryer the washer turns on and off and the buzzer goes… If you have kids they will constantly be turning it off and on
I did mention it to them one year in, that the power switch should not be digital and should run the whole washer, so you could lock it out. My kids washed a lot of empty loads, there was no kids safe option.
So double check you won’t have that issue with the newer models, otherwise it washes great, it’s large and takes less time to get done and there is no funky smell that people complain about with front loaders
It’s just the crazy buzzer that drives me nuts!!

Quiet and efficient

I purchased a stove at Best Buy in November. I was so pleased with my stove and Geoff in the Nanaimo store that when my washer quit I decided to go back to Best Buy. We settled on a Whirlpool washer, dryer and dishwasher. I am enjoying my new appliances very much. They are quiet efficient and very easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It completely failed after 1 year and 10 months. Shirlpool support is super useless. It will be a nightmare even you want to paid for repair.
