looks good but hard to operate & makes loud noises

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have the unit for about 8 months and have problems getting it to do the operations we want it to do every time we ask it to do it. Also sense we have had the machine it is generally quite noisy through its cycles and every so often it will make a unusual loud clouning noise as if you think it is going to jump off the floor. But the unit is setup level and flat sold on the floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best washing machine I’ve owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washing machine is a warhorse. The digital panel is easy and intuitive. Don’t have to spend hours reading the instruction book. It cleans clothes exceptionally well. While driving my grand daughter home from softball practice we stopped and got subs which we are in the car on the way home. Mine had all the good stuff, which proceeded to spill all over my shorts and team jersey. Disaster in the making. Got home, tossed it in the washer, added the “extra soiled” cycle and voila! No stains, no mess, just clean clothes. My appliance repairman recommended this machine. Said he never has to fix them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our existing HE too load washer with this one and we actually feel like our clothes are getting fully cleaned now. The setup is very easy and the added app/remote features make it very convenient to start laundry remotely and get notified when it is finished. The added fresh fan makes it really easy to keep clothes fresh when you cannot get them out right away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My husband bought this washer to replace an old top loader! I've already done a bunch of loads .. it is quiet...it is pretty easy to use once you figure it out..

load and go fabric softener issues

I am happy with this machine but i am unable to use the load and go fabric softener dispenser as my fabric softener is 5x concentrated and there is no way to change the setting on the fabric softener like you can on the detergent dispenser. Hopefully they can fix this with an update in the future?

Not worth its price and unrepairable

Bought this in April of 2020, thankfully bought it together with a Whirlpool Service Plan offered, sold and issued by AIG and approved by Whirlpool.
Until it broke the machine performance was ok:
-Pros: cleans clothes as expected, is gentle on fabrics, has a lot of options to customize the wash, 2 automated detergent dispenser tanks are convenient
-Cons: control screen is very slow to react, needs cleaning cycle on a regular basis to prevent build up/smell even using the automated dispenser with the appropriate setting
The biggest complain how/when it broke and the service received.
The machine started only washing clothes with hot water, regardless of the temperature of the cycle. The machine was not able to self-diagnose this and this ruined several of our delicate clothes as we suspected that something was wrong only after noticing that when taking out our clothes from the washer they were warm instead of cold and the fact that our clothes started not fitting us anymore. This is unacceptable.
The service provided through the service plan was very slow (every time they came out there was at least 2 weeks between appointments) and they invoked the buy-out clause right at the 3 visit (first visit there was no attempt to repair - just a diagnosis, second visit they change the water inlet valve, third visit they change the mother board). Buy out clause was for 75% of the pre-tax price, which was fair, but did not include a haul away. I was disappointed about the non-willingness to work with the customer and offer an equal trade to allow me to maintain a matching washer/dryer.
I trusted Whirlpool but this was such a disappointment that I am not sure I can recommend their appliances anymore.

Horrible wouldn't recommend

We got this sent to us as a replacement for our other Whirlpool Washer that broke down in under a year. Now this ones touch screen has stopped working after 4.5 months. been trying to set up a service appointment with Whirlpool but their Schedule Service link on here is down and we can't get through via phone. We have 2 young children under 6 so you can only imagine the inconvenience this is causing us. As of right now I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. Who would have thought putting a touch screen in a washing machine would breakdown? This guy!!!

Great washer but wifi connectivity is a nightmare

The washer itself does a fine job, but the touchscreen is laggy and the wifi connectivity (the main reason I bought the model) is a nightmare. Wifi drops on a weekly basis, with the only option is to turn off the circuit breaker on/off.
Tried everything:
Factory reset
Double checked wifi signal
2g and 5g wifi separated
No hope :(
