Moisture sensor is Garbage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item and It wasnt cheap. Finding out that it stops drying after 10min on the sensor dry and it's usually still wet. I do it again samething. It thinks its dry "NOT". I mentioned it to Whirlpool I dont think they will fix the issue or software for it. I have to put it on Time dry. What's the point of a sensor dry if it doesnt work. What garbage

Not a smart device in my opinion

I bought this DRYER WGD9620HO figuring that it was a "Smart Appliance" It does work with the whirlpool App but It does not work with Alexa in CANADA. However It does work with Alexa in USA. Having this feature enabled and having Alexa tell you the washer and or Dryer is completed Cycle would make this a true smart device I feel. Wish Whirlpool would work on the software update for this and truly make this machine amazing!!!!

Don't buy this piece of junk product. They're having issues with their control board that they can't find a solution for. Our first one took a crap n we had to wait over 3 months for a respnd part replacement which they couldn't deliver. My wife had to make multiple trips to the Laundromat in the frigid weather last winter. They finally agreed to give us a brand new replacement unit which turns out to have the same issue, the control board. Now we are back to square one which is waiting for a replacement part that they haven't been able to keep stocked. I guess it's because they have to replace so many of these. We are still waiting for a respond again which could take months again. If you r buying one for ur wife or urself , would u want her or I to go through this frustrations in making trips to the Laundromat? Requesting our $ back which is not possible because they want a chance to fix it...I think we're going to end up with a piece of crap again. BTW the hold time is at least an hour every time u try to make contact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We waited 8 months for the dryer and I’m glad we did! It heats up quickly and evenly dries bulky items. The drum is big enough to easily accommodate my king duvet with room to spare. The auto dry function leave my clothes on the damp side, but I just need to adjust it to more dry.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Laundry set (all from Whirlpool), the last 2 sets were very reliable, and did not require much repair work.
I've had this new set for a few weeks, so far we are loving them (I just tried the steam dryer option with a wrinkly shirt i wore already ... it looked really nice after the steam cycle).
The look cool and are very quiet when operating
I would recommend this to a friend!

One Great Piece of Junk

We have received this dryer back in November 2019....it ran fine until Dec 2020 and ever since it's never operated properly. Tech has been home so many times that I need the fingers of all 6 people living at our home to count....At this point it's come and take it back, give me my money and I'll buy some other brand. If I could rate it at Zero Star I would....no hesitation at all

2 Years under repair and still not working

Got our Gas Dryer back in late 2019...Moisture Sensor failed in Jan 2020....ever since we have been getting the visit of multiple repair man sent by Whirlpool and despite changing parts we are still at the same point....moisture sensor does not work, dryer stops after 10 min and of course nothing dries up...we have to restart the dryer until we get our stuff dried.
