Burnt taste with very little butter toffee

I love coffee and try to find the best in any type of coffee. I love Keurig for the ability to try out different coffees without committing to a huge bag or can of coffee.
This is the only one of Gloria Jean's coffees I have tried so far. It did not have much flavor and certainly not a butter toffee. It had a odd, burnt taste to it. Inferior, poorly processed beans for this batch.
