This was the first drink we tried in our Keurig brewer, and I was impressed with the incredible aroma while it was brewing. I don't like my coffee "black," so I did add a couple of sweetener packets and a splash of creamer, but you can still taste the butter toffee flavor coming through. It has a very nice finish and leaves the pleasant caramel flavor in your mouth for a while after you finish the cup.
Excellent cup of rich, medium roast coffee with buttery-toffee flavor. Reminds me of the Gloria Jean's coffee from the mall coffee shop of the same name. How convenient that I can now enjoy this same coffee at home!
If you are buying this because you are expecting it to taste like Heath Bar as I did, please don't. This has the taste and smell of those Royal Dansk cookies that come in the blue tin at Christmas time. I feel as though it is similar to a Hazelnut. Since this is a medium roast, I opted for the 7.5oz cup size and still found it to be a little weak in the flavor dept. I would like to rate this 3 1/2 stars however it's closer to a 4 than a 3. This coffee is smooth and not bitter. It's sounds like I'm being negative,I suppose, but I really didn't dis-like this coffee it was actually very good i'm just not much of a hazelnut fan and I think that Green Mountain and Van Houte might be better options here if you ARE a Hazelnut fan.
I buy for an office full of soldiers in Afghanistan. Butter Toffee was the first box to disappear and we have about 20 flavors. 2 people gave me $20 to buy more of THIS BRAND and 1 soldier offered to take out my trash every day for a cup of Butter Toffee coffee.
I love this coffee. I bought three different flavored coffees when I first got my machine and this was the one I finished first. The others were no match for it. Love the flavor!
