Turn the scale 90

Measuring flour doesn't have to be subjective, nor messy, with this well-made attachment. Pointer: If you use the mixer in a sideways orientation, you can rotate the scale 90 degrees so you can see the display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I will admit I am the person that if I see "sift ingredients" a recipe I most often time skip that step out of pure laziness! But this attachment makes it sooo easy! It was very easy to assemble and attach to the mixer. The sifter worked great and the scale being built in is such a great feature. I will say the sifter doesn't work super, super fast but it's not bad. And added bonus: having the little chute for the ingredients to "slide" down gets rid of my problem of accidentally spilling half my dry ingredients onto the counter trying to add them in.

Sifter and scale Attachment

I tried the sifter and scale attachment yesterday. While adding the flour, the whole unit fell to the floor. Yes, I tightened the knob finger tight. Not sure how much I like this attachment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am SO happy to finally have this tool in my kitchen. I feel very "official" with a scale for my dry ingredients, but what I'm most grateful for is actually the sifter. It is incredibly easy to use -- I watched a one minute video online and had it working properly. You literally just dump the dry ingredients into the top, and turn on your mixer -- the sifter attachment does all the rest. Nothing flew out of the bowl, the ingredients didn't get thrown in all at once, it was truly beautiful to watch. And so much less messy than my usual manual process. I'm in love.
Note: This attachment is HUGE! You will not be keeping it on the mixer if you store your mixer under a cabinet or on a pantry shelf. It extends maybe 10" above the top of the mixer, and maybe 8" out in front. I store my attachment separately in the pantry, and thankfully it snaps back on in 5 seconds when I need it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really enjoy using this. Took a few tries to assemble and disassemble but it's simple once I figured it out. (I'm not one to easily grasp concepts with items with moving parts). I like being able to use the scale either on the mixer or on the counter. Also like being able to add in flour (salt, baking powder) alternately by turning the hopper knob (removing the sifter when necessary) and watching the scale.

Works good, but few improvements needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the sift and scale work great. However, I do have a couple improvements that would make it a 5 star attachment. First, a larger reservoir to hold flour. And second, the softer should operate a bit faster.
I do like the reduced mess when using this attachment though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my kitchen aid mixer and all I can say is wow! I trashed my old kitchen scale and let me tell you this is the only one I use now! Very accurate and great design! My husband really enjoys the sifter because he does most of the baking in the house. I no longer have to help him shift flour. We are both very happy!
