Best attachment for baking!

Cleaning Video is Missing!

This was a Christmas gift from my husband - and I am just learn8ng how to use it. So far, so good. The scale on its own is tidy, useful, and changes between pounds and grams which is great. The sifting unit works nicely - but I learned not to fill it too full, or the dry ingredients compact down and you have to tap the sides quite a bit to get them moving once the initial ingredients flow out. Overall a nice unit. My problem is the ‘cleaning video’ isn’t on your site, or UTube. I can’t turn the collar on the sifting piece to get the screen portion out for cleaning, and can’t tell if it’s just a bit stuck because it’s new, or if I am missing something entirely that is required to remove the screen for cleaning. I wouldn’t be grateful if someone could let me know! It I should completely stuck and doesn’t move a trailer all. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sifter and scale product is s great idea. It is easily attached and makes it so simple for sifting while adding to the mixer bowl. The scale is just a really nice bonus. You can also use this scale separately

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How did I live without these to use with my kitchen aid? So easy to use. Makes life a lot easier. If you do a lot of baking this is a must. It makes me excited to use it over & over. I wasn’t sure when I got it if it would be easy to use but it really is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am on a diet that I like to calculate exactly what I am putting in my food. The scale feature on here is great because I know exactly how much of each ingredient that I am using. The scale is digital so it is really easy to see. Plus the automatic sifter is great for combining ingredients evenly before mixed with other ingredients and its so easy to do. I would highly recommend this product for any at home baker.

It takes a little getting used to using the scale for measuring (which you don't have to do, but I like that idea behind it). And it sifts the ingredients into the bowl slower that I would be doing manually, which keeps the "puff" to a minimum.
I've also used the scale to weigh things outside of baking. I love the variety of what I can do with this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A long overdue accessory to the stand mixer line. The hopper could be a little larger, but other than that, this is one fine piece of equipment. The built in scale is what cinched it for me. I was really surprised that the chute does not lose any ingredients "over the side". I have used it on both my 5 qt & 6 qt stand mixers, and it works equally as well for both. And a lot less mess to clean up afterwards.
