Great concept... but...

Just got this and tried it for the first time and think I will be returning it. It doesn't work for small amounts even though the conversion chart shows weight for 1 tsp items, I tried 5 different ingredients between 1/2 tsp and 2 tsp and it only registered one of them at 1 gram.
It also doesn't seem to work well for almond or coconut flours, and the AP flour seemed to go right through the sifter and not actually get sifted.. so what is point of the sifter?? It is also a bit of a pain to clean up all the parts. I very much wanted to love this, but honestly can't see where it's worth the money - at least to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scale is very accurate. Recipe called for 1 lb. Or 2-1/2 cups flour. The by the weight was much more accurate than by the cup measurement. I really like this.

I bought this for myself to help in adding dry ingredients when baking. I usually end up with flour everywhere. This product doesn’t help that issue, but maybe I had the mixer on too high a speed. I had to tap on the chute a few times to keep the flour moving consistently. It doesn’t really seem to like brown sugar either, maybe because it’s consistency is such that’s it sticks to the sifter. However, it was super easy to assemble, take apart, and clean up. I had none of the mechanical issues others had. It was entertaining watching the flour slide down the chute and into the bowl. It did keep me from having to dirty another bowl. I think just like anything new it just takes a little practice. Overall I think it’s going to be a fun and helpful gadget thi Should Christmas baking season

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The attachment works as advertised, however, it is noisy. Also, be very sure you have the attachment securely attached. I thought I did, only to discover the vibrations caused the entire device to fly off the mixer.
I love the sifter feature which has made a huge difference in my baking. Don’t use the scale much and would like to be able to use the hopper and sifter without the scale.
I would recommend this to a friend!
