Nice sifter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was asked to review this attachment. There were a bit too many parts for me to put it together. The scale only weighed the flour to be sifted. I had to transform my recipe of cups into grams. I don’t know if I would bother taking the time to assemble this to sift. I guess if you do a great deal of baking, it might be worth you while.

Great assist for Baking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This attachment has helped considerably with mixing and adding dry ingredients while baking. Prior to this I was adding with a measuring cup from the side and inevitably I'd add too much at once causing it to spill over the sides.

I bought my Sifter and I love it. It's very easy to use and it much easier for me than the old hand sifter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised how solid this attachment is. The parts fit together tightly while also moving smoothly. The whole thing comes apart for easy cleaning and fits back together intuitively. The scale is simple and easy to read. I also like that the spout for sifted flour can be rotated to dispense in a separate bowl.

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble but I returned my sifter attachment. I am a gadget guru and thought this was going to be an amazing attachment. It is too much trouble to assemble and have to measure the flour first before adding. It is supposed to measure it but it goes way too fast and if you have extra it is hard to put back. When I was adding the flour it flew off the mixer and 1 1/2 cups of flour went everywhere. It took 1 hours to clean up. This is way to much tourble to use. I will be back to measuring and sifting the old fashioned way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs finer sieve for flour

I have a child with celiac disease and have to sift the small particles out of almond flour and other non wheat flours to bake for him. I bought this sifter for that reason only! I got it today and sifted an entire bag of almond flour and not one tiny particle was sifted out. I wasted all that time just literally running flour through this thing and it did nothing. The mesh is not fine at all and there is no way this sifter can effectively do what it’s intended to do without an available replacement. Is there one? Or something that I can buy from another brand that will fit it? If not, it’s useless for sifting flour and that’s what most people sift. If the mesh were fine, this would be a great product!
Also, it does make a loud creaking noise while sifting but I’m guessing that’s normal for the metal rubbing against the mesh material with the wide holes. This mesh would never sift out anything SMH
