[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this KitchenAid Sifter + Scale Attachment product to try, and give my honest opinion on, and I'm glad I did. This is a fantastic attachment, and will come in handy for many recipes. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who loves to make things from scratch. Easy to assemble, use, and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife likes to bake with our kids on the weekend and I get to be the tester of everything they bake. sometimes its good sometimes its not, but I still smile. My wife explained to me the reason that the same thing tastes different is that she lets the kids works with scales and everything that needs to be weighted, but the kids are not consistent. We got this attachment (and I am a fan of technology so I want my kids to know how to work with it as well) and trust me when I tell you that the taste is more consistent and everyone gets to enjoy baking more and I get to enjoy the baking goods more!

Nice sifter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was asked to review this attachment. There were a bit too many parts for me to put it together. The scale only weighed the flour to be sifted. I had to transform my recipe of cups into grams. I don’t know if I would bother taking the time to assemble this to sift. I guess if you do a great deal of baking, it might be worth you while.

Great assist for Baking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This attachment has helped considerably with mixing and adding dry ingredients while baking. Prior to this I was adding with a measuring cup from the side and inevitably I'd add too much at once causing it to spill over the sides.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised how solid this attachment is. The parts fit together tightly while also moving smoothly. The whole thing comes apart for easy cleaning and fits back together intuitively. The scale is simple and easy to read. I also like that the spout for sifted flour can be rotated to dispense in a separate bowl.

Don't bother

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble but I returned my sifter attachment. I am a gadget guru and thought this was going to be an amazing attachment. It is too much trouble to assemble and have to measure the flour first before adding. It is supposed to measure it but it goes way too fast and if you have extra it is hard to put back. When I was adding the flour it flew off the mixer and 1 1/2 cups of flour went everywhere. It took 1 hours to clean up. This is way to much tourble to use. I will be back to measuring and sifting the old fashioned way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
