Best attachment ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my doubts... my husband bought this and I was not real sure I ever wanted it. But now.... well, now I see how fantastic this really is. It is actually two attachments in one. It is a scale and a sifter. It will weight food and weigh and sift. Everything I have made has turned out fantastic.

There will be a bigger workout next week when I make my mom's sweet rolls and I expect they will excel then too.

Great attachment for an equally great appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once I got used to weighing ingredients rather than measuring, my baked goods come out perfect. I don’t need an extra bowl for sifting dry ingredients. Easy to use and easy to clean.

Fantastic addition to our baking routine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the KitchenAid Sifter & Scale attachment which had been a great addition to our baking routine. It was very easy to install and the digits are large, making it easy to use the scale. The sifter is perfect for evenly mixing in flour for cookies and cakes and is very easy to use.

I received this sifter and scale attachment from KitchenAid and was asked to review it. I have an older 5qt lift bowl mixer, we are talking about 40 years old and I also have the new Kitchen Mini stand mixer. I love both of them. The sifter and scale attachment fits and works beautifully with both my stand mixers. I have many recipes written by weight and have a separate kitchen scale. I really like that this attachment is everything you need in one! Sifting is not my favorite subject but I will definitely be using this attachment every time I bake! It is east to assemble, easy to use and easy to clean up! I bake a lot so expect to use this attachment almost daily. Whether you want a accurate weight measure or a cup measure the sifter will be great either way. Also when you need to alternate ingredients dry and wet it is exceptional as you can release flour a little at a time without stopping in between additions. A note here is it is for dry ingredients only and not intended for coarse ingredients like sugar. If you like to bake you will love this attachment!
