Great coffee but....

Makes great coffee but rotating pod spinner gets stuck, really stuck between cups! Have to take a towel and manually turn it until it loosens, then it can be used again. Again, coffee is fantastic, but machine is a really pain. Originally went thru all the flush and error codes with online help, but now we just use a towel, open the lid and reach in and manually get it to turn. Not easy, but works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

My daughter gave me this machine a year ago in August for my birthday and I had loved it because it had never failed me at all until this week - a little over a year only and it stopped drawing water from the reservoir. So disappointed. I have never any other kind of water except reverse osmosis water but a friend has suggested that i try to poke around the lines to see if something might have lodged in it - maybe I will - when I’m done recuperating from surgery. In the meantime - I am craving coffee.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing machine, way too noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this machine thinking it would be more sophisticated because it’s a newer model and we liked the design but had to return it because of the terrible noise it made and the poor mechanical functionality. The return process was easy although we are still waiting for our payment adjustment. We also have ordered and received a new vertus plus deluxe and we love it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A few disappointments…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Vertuo Plus for many years and love it! The “Plus” did not accommodate the larger pods for a 12 oz cup of coffee which I was not aware of when purchasing the larger pods. One drawback of the newer Vertuo Next was the change in how the pods are loaded. Instead of gently touching the clamshell tab to open, the pod loading is difficult to manipulate for me with arthritic hand issues. If you like a nice piping hot cup of Joe in the morning, this model doesn’t come close to the brewing temperature of the Vertuo “Plus.” I do like the ability to brew larger pods and will continue to use, but am very disappointed in whatever was changed in the brewing design. Need to microwave multiple times to enjoy hot coffee which is not always convenient.
