Too limiting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s straight forward with nothing but a single button. The capsules come in different sizes and that is what makes the machine brew the size/ounces. When I realized this that’s when for me I knew this wasn’t gonna be a good fit. I dislike , no honestly I hate, being locked in that way. I want more customization. And let’s be real, the capsules are so over priced. Is it neat having an easy espresso style machine with pods? Sure. Worth it? Not to me. I often drink various styles of coffee. I don’t want to double check and search for the correct size capsule to make sure I get the correct style of drink. I think it’s a good quality machine and brews good quality coffees. I just don’t like how it functions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m absolutely in love with this nespresso machine, super easy to use you just add ice or milk & syrups. it gave my home an aesthetic look and works so amazing. i genuinely would recommend this to everyone i know! i’m figuring out what i like in coffee flavors intensity wise & i couldn’t have gotten a better machine

Sleek, compact design

The machine has a sleek, modern design that isn’t bulky and looks great on my countertop. It’s easy to use, doesn’t create a mess, Cleaning is simple. The coffee comes out rich and creamy very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ooohhh, girl, the Nespresso lives up to the hype! First off, the packaging is designed to be recycled. 100%. I love a sustainable queen. It’s incredibly easy to set up, clean, install, and make your first coffee. I chose to use a regular coffee as my first cup, and I was NOT disappointed. I also love that the machine knows the perfect amount of coffee / espresso / carafe to dispense based on the size of the pod used. Finally, the coffee itself tasted magnificent. I am converted!

Amazing coffee but a few design quirks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes an incredibly delicious, creamy cup of coffee! It filled my kitchen with an aroma reminiscent of a coffee shop in Italy, which is impressive from a capsule machine. In terms of coffee, this absolutely deserves 5 stars. The Nespresso is the way to go if you’re looking for higher quality taste while maintaining convenience. However, there’s a few elements to the machine itself that weren’t worth a perfect score.
Functions are simple - insert a capsule, lock the top, press the button to start. The locking mechanism isn’t as smooth as I expected. You kinda have to grip the machine and forcefully turn it into place, but I’m hoping that will loosen up with use.
There’s only one button on the machine, with no visual size settings, so how much coffee is it going to brew? Well, that depends on the capsule you put in. The different capsules you buy are optimized for specific sizes, so the machine will read it and brew that amount. You can manually make more after it’s done or make less by stopping it early, but that adds extra steps which can be a hassle if you’re in a rush.
Design is beautiful and quite slim, although you’ll want to have open space around it for proper accessibility. Water tank is small but adequate for several uses and is located at the back of the machine. I love that this has a built-in bin for used capsules! After brewing, the next time the lid is opened it automatically tosses the used capsule into the bin. Bin slides out from the left side to be emptied. It’s worth mentioning that the lid opens pretty high, so you’ll need to have enough clearance for this under your cabinets. Drip tray easily adjusts to various heights, although it’s very small and should’ve been made bigger. It doesn’t accommodate large or wide mugs well. The mug I used was the perfect size for the mug-sized (8oz) capsule I brewed, yet it really didn’t fit safely on the drip tray. I’m not sure how this model compares to others from Nespresso’s lineup, perhaps a different one may be better in these regards.
Overall, there’s a learning curve and higher expense that comes with the Nespresso, but the flavor is worth it!
