I love my machine so much! I purchased a second for when I’m at my boyfriend’s and one for my mom! It’s so good, it’s replaced my Starbucks runs!

Great…when it works

This machine makes delicious coffee; when it works. We’ve had this machine for 1.5 years and now we are having problem everyday. Constant yellow or red flashing lights. We keep cleaning and descaling and the late will not stop flashing. At this point we are just wasting pods trying to get the thing to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor quality equipment

Purchased the Vertuo Next couple months back. Stopped working already, in less than 6 months. Very poor quality

Awful— gets stuck and won’t open

I’ve had this for a little over 2 years and it’s the worst! I can’t ever use it because it’s stuck and will not open. I’ve tried everything and when it finally does open it does it again. It’s a vicious cycle we paid all this money just for it to never work. I’ve used it maybe 10x since I got it. It’s not even worth the hassle. Just fry instant espresso, that’s never let me down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So great I bought two!!

I grew up in an Italian household and have been drinking coffee since I was extremely young. I also was a barista when I was younger, and have every type of brew system out there to enjoy my coffees depending on my mood.
The biggest problem I had at work was not having a quick brew system for being on the go. I would usually bring in coffee I made at home but would run out early on, and I did not want to use my departments k-cups (they are tasteless!). I invested in one of these for my desk for work and WOW! I wish I’d done this sooner!
Pros:
-Coffee is hot
-The foam is AMAZING
-Flavour notes are clear and have much more body than other (quick pod) machines I’ve used in the past.
-Easy one touch button system that reads the pod code
-automatic open and close lid
-Easy clean up
-Coffee is hot

-Louder than I expected

Yup, that’s it for cons! If it were a bit more quiet, it would be nice, but of course that is not a deal breaker.
I have now purchased a machine for home to add to my other classic espresso machine, French press, pour overs, drip system, etc.
I also waited two months to review to make sure it was consistent with taste and performance. I cannot recommend these machines enough!
