Breaks After A Year - I agree with everyone else.

I saw that this machine was on sale, and I considered buying my second one - until I realized that the last machine I had broke due to NO fault of my own. I thought I over used it - making two to three coffees per day. Apparently my experience - where my machine lasted less than a year - was shared by many people. Guess I'll not buy another one, even at a reduced price, if it's doomed to die in a year, which is what I experienced last time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My favorite coffee machine

My favorite coffee machine ever. Nespresso coffee is so strong. You have the option to brew a regular hot coffee and a condensed brew for iced coffee. I like the vertuo because it’s a larger brew vs the original.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nespresso Vertuo completely changed my coffee experience. I don’t even want to roll into a coffee house when I have this coffee in my house!

Great espresso

With one exception, the Plus works perfectly. I have made all four cup sizes and cleaning was more than easy. I also own a Breville and the espresso is good on both. There is a difference between crema and foam but for me, it does not matter. (If it does, get the Original not the Virtuo (unless you want coffee)). The exception, and why I don't give 5 stars, is that I have never been able to connect to it wirelessly. That makes little practical difference but I believe the Plus is supposed to do this.

Great while it lasted...

I loved the Nespresso Vertuo Next - until it died. It worked well, brewed a good cup of coffee, and was super easy to operate. I didn't like how hard it is to twist the top on to lock the pod in place, but that wasn't a big issue for me. The part that I knocked off a star for was that it went from operating just fine to not turning on at all - nothing happened. I had coffee one morning, the next, the light wouldn't come on and the machine no longer operated. Despite all troubleshooting, it appears to have died. The machine is expensive enough that I'd expect it to last for more than 2 years, so that's disappointing. Not sure if I'll be an exact replacement or shift to a new brand.

Do not buy!!

Purchased on 7/5/2024. Didn't last a year before breaking down. Cleaning and descaling did not help. Save your money and do not buy this machine.

Not the quality I expected

I was a happy owner of the original Virtuo machine ....it worked great and lasted a long time. When it was time to replace it, I thought this would be an upgrade. Loved the sleek look and the idea of less width taken on the counter. This machine is horrible, Loud, awkward components, even leaks at the drip tray. The coffee still tastes great but after a short stay with me, I am donating it and will return to the original. Guess you don't fix what isn't broken. I wouldn't purchase this again, even at the sale price.

Too Loud, Not Hot Enough, Cups fall off

Title says it all. The machine is very noisy. The coffee is not hot enough, Cups fall off the cup holder, which I’ve owned the Evolou machine and the cups fall that one too. Nespresso please redevelop the cup holder.
Nespresso being a premium brand I would expect premium quality. Noise, Heat, Functionality!
