Fast speeds but sub-par for hardware

I bought this and noticed that the speeds were not as I expected. I compared them to the different laptops with the same parts and even the same model but I seemed to be getting sub-par results while still being good. I was not able to reach the full potential and never was able to utilize the 144hz refresh rate

Variety of options and very customizable

After a months use of this laptop, it feels great with a 144hz display and GTX 1060. There is one problem I am concerned with and that it the cooling on the system CPU and GPU. I'm not sure what temperatures are considered high for the laptop and if I should keep fans on turbo speed when gaming.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hyperfan, Front Light Bar, and Camo Marks

I bought the GL704GM(17inch) a couple months ago, the design is amazing. I liked how slick the lid is, the camo that follows the same design on the lid over the keyboard. The nice front light bar is cool as well. I really like the use of Armoury Crate and how easy it is to access with its own key, as well as the hyperfan feature. Every game I've played runs smoothly. One thing that took awhile getting used to was how the fan blows out on the right side, so it warms your hand. At first it was obnoxious, but now it's actually pretty nice.

Powerful high quality gaming laptop

Runs amazing. have no yet run into any thermal throttling issues. Without undervolt runs at 85-93c while running games like overwatch, fallout 4 etc at max settings.
