The best robot in the Lego Arsenal

I have to admit that I've never played Overwatch and know very little about it.. I do know however that it has a huge fanbase and is very very successful in the gaming world. I'm also aware that Bastion is one of the games most recognisable and favourite characters, therefore the decision to make a Lego version was a no-brainer. The build is fairly easy and has some nice and intriguing techniques also the inclusion of so many sand green elements is always a pleasure. The final result is one beautifully built and highly posable set, the stances and poses that Bastion can be set up in is really impressive and the transformation function is done in about 5 easy and simple steps. Finally throw in Ganymede (his trusty bird sidekick) and a red light brick and you've got a set which I easily rate at 10 out of 10! Excellent work Lego keep these great builds coming!

Awesome for OW collection

Man this thing is omnic cool. If you're an Overwatch fan, I would recommend. His turret mode is cool as well and easy to change into. No disassembling and reassembling, you just move his part around. The only thing is that his arms don't move side to side with much range. But his body turns at the waist so he can still hit targets to his side. Plus that's kinda how he moves ingame anyways. Otherwise he can make for some great poses and a great addition to your Overwatch collection

Overwatch?

Came across this while perusing the Lego website. Have to admit that I didn’t know what Overwatch was. Still impressed by the overall look. Started building and my 9 year old son took over and built about 80% of it. Thanks Lego, a great build and good times with my son.

Bastion is my son's favorite character in Overwatch so when I found this set I just knew we had to have it. He was so excited when he opened it. He was only 7 when we purchased and he put it together with very minimal help from Mom. Such a cool kit from the transformation to the light up head. Bastion still guards our book shelf to this day.

The articulation is great and the transformation was smooth and just felt right. The light brick was implemented very nicely and works amazingly. I love the little bird that comes with it. Deep fans will love it because of the lore and its origins in the game. Would have been nice to include the pieces to have a full color change as if it were a different skin, but that is asking a lot from you and I can see how this was better for pricing reasons. Will definitely buy more overwatch sets! 11/10

Surprisingly awesome

Initially I was disappointed with bastion, because it lacked minifigures. after having built it, they would only detract from this amazing set. The transformation feature is easy to pick up and really cool to watch, the many points of articulation make for a wide range of poses and actions, this set succeeds at every turn and I could not be happier.
Well apart from an alternate blue light-brick being included but I understand that's expensive. Great work, lego!
I would recommend this to Bastion fans, Overwatch fans, Iron Giant fans, Transformers fans, and anyone who even casually collects Lego sets.

An overall good set

First off, this set is a lot bigger than I expected. Also I would have preferred that removing the head wouldn’t be necessary to complete the transformation but besides that it’s a fun satisfying build with a surprising amount of articulation.

Excelent Lego Figure

Overall, the character is quite well built. Compared to the in game model it is fairly accurate. The ability to transform without reconstruction is awesome and quite easy!
My only (marginal) complaints are that the eye is red instead of blue (the led brick contains a red LED so despite the blue transparent 2x1 in front of it, the eye lights up very red) and that when transformed into sentry mode, the head is simply removed entirely instead of placed elsewhere or folded into the model somehow.
If there was some way to incorporate the head back into the sentry mode transformation, this would be perfect. I plan to replace the red led in the eye for a blue one.
