Looks and functions great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own other De’Longhi products, and I’ve been very satisfied with them all, so when I had the opportunity to pick up the Livenza Programmable Slow Cooker with Stovetop-Safe Pot, I jumped at the opportunity. And I am very happy to report that it lives up to all my expectations! The De’Longhi Slow Cooker is easy to operate, convenient to use, and built to last!
The De’Longhi came well packaged, and arrived in pristine condition. It is well constructed, and has a reassuring heft to it. The LED is bright and large so you can see it across the kitchen, or from our dining room. The buttons and dials are responsive but firmly set. All in all, the craftmanship makes me think this product will last for a very long time (and my other De’Longhi products still operate perfectly after years on the job!)
It looks fantastic, matching the rest of our stainless steel appliances, and has a modern look that matches our decorating style.
Setting the cook time will begin the warming process, and you can easily adjust the minute intervals…I love that when the cook time elapses it will automatically go into a warming mode so that you don’t have to worry about you food getting cold if you aren’t right there to babysit your dinner. We love that we can start the cooker, then head into the yard, or for a walk, and not have to hurry back when our cook time elapses, knowing that a warm dinner will be waiting.
The Slow Cooker is large enough for our family of four, and we absolutely love that the pot is removable. I hated having to wash our old Slow Cooker, and having to worry about keeping the cord and electronics dry. The De’Longhi solves this issue, and too, we can place the pot directly on our stove for additional functionality. The pot isn’t overly heavy, so it isn’t hard to hand wash, or to hold and tip to get out the rest of the leftovers.
Like any cooker, it takes a bit of time to familiarize yourself with fast or slow it takes compared with other, previous slow cookers, and personally for us, the De’Longhi takes slightly longer to get a full cook than our previous model. That isn’t a criticism, just a matter of adjustment. With a slow cooker, speed isn’t my main concern.
So, because it looks great, functions well, and is easy to clean, I do recommend the De’Longhi Livenza Programmable Slow Cooker.

Programmable cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker is great. I used it several times in different ways. I would usually skip the "browning" process to save myself the work of cleaning an additional pan but this remedies that just great. I don't think it browns as well as a skillet or other pan might but it's better than the alternative. I also used the insert to cook a main meal and then transferred to the slow cooker to keep warm as we sometimes eat at different times. Both times the meal came out great. I've had problems in the past with overcooking in other slow cookers but did not have this problem with this because its programmable and always keeps it at the steady temperature. I received this product as a sample to review.

This is the Slowest Cooker Ever

I received this as a Christmas gift. I finally got to use it yesterday. I put in a small roast with carrots and potatoes in a gravy mixture. I went by the recipe instructions to cook on "low". After 6 hrs, the contents only stayed "warm". I put it on "High" for a couple of hours which didn't cook the food at all. I put the whole pan in the refrigerator overnight. I put it back in the cooker for another FIVE hours on HIGH. The potatoes and roast are still not cooked well. I would not recommend this cooker unless you plan on cooking your food on high for at least 24 hours. And then there is no guarantee your food will get done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really digging this De'Longhi slow cooker. It is super easy to use and the digital read put is plenty big for my eyes.
I like that it has high, medium, low and keep warm. The timer is easy to set. And once the timer runs out it will automatically go to keep warm, so no worries of food get cold. I also like that it has a bottom like a normal pot does so that I can actually put it on my stove to brown food in, such a convince. Only thing with the bottom is, it is rough so I normally let it air dry, otherwise it can tear up a towel.
Over all I am pleased with the temperatures, seems to be accurate and easy to use.

Great Crock Pot for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cooked a frozen turkey breast in the pot for 3 hours, afterwards it turned itself to warm which was great because my meat stayed hot but did not dry out. I liked the knob feature because it is easier for my arthritic hands. Plus the easy selection of low, medium and high. After cooking and cooling down, the pot was very easy to lift out of the main unit to set on the stove for serving. It was also very easy to clean up and store after use.

Best Slow Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker is truly wonderful. This is a must have fr anyone that likes to be in the kitchen. I threw my old crock pot out and will not buy another. This is fully programmable for up to 24 hours, great for those that work long hours and cannot cook up a meal fast. The best feature about this slow cooker is that the pot itself is stove top safe which most cookers are not, or crock pots are mostly ceramic. So you can basically braise or brown your meats in the same pot and then add back to the cooker, this is very convenient and saves on dishes as well. Overall a great addition to your kitchen

Amazing product Amazing and innovative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well put together and seems very durable. I like how easy and simple it is to program the time and temperature. It is so easy to just put the switch on low, medium, or high. It has a wide varity of timers as well. The size is big enough for a whole chicken even but not too big that it would crowd your kitchen. I love the sleek, shiny exterior and its long design making it easy to store on the counter or away in the cupboard. I love the heavy, glass lid and the small whole it has to vent away extra vapor. My food cooked very well and truly impressed me by its quick and even cooking. I cooked beef ribs on medium and they were extremely tender. I will be using this often!
