Attractive functional design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this 2 months ago and have become happily accustomed to using the french door function. I like the appearance and the size is perfect. The only negative is the pantry drawer which is designed to have a divider; no factory manufactured divider is available, which is disappointing.

This is a good refrigerator. There is loads of room, it is easy to customize for space needs, and the ice maker works great so far. Temperature seems steady and it is easy to keep clean. I sacrificed the water/ice maker in the fridge door for more fridge space and I don't miss it at all. Having the ice in the freezer drawer is working out just fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Fridge, Problems with Freezer

Keeps produce fresh for weeks

Not as expected.

We purchased this model to replace a side by side and we needed more room in the refrigerator section. That worked out well. However, the ice maker is very noisy. The top two doors of the refrigerator do not close well. The door cover for the wide drawer pops off easily and often. We may end up without the door when it hits the floor and breaks. I waited for some time to get a new refrigerator and feel that I chose the wrong one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've only had the refrigerator a few weeks, but the doors open wide and allow large items to be placed in the shelves above and the freezer space allows larger, wider items to be stored without the door potentially staying open. We're very pleased with the purchase and trust the Whirlpool brand.
