Great Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well built, lots of space, simple with no complex features that are likely to go bad, internal water dispenser, ice maker in bottom freezer (if you don’t mind scooping your own ice) . Does its job and does it well! Exactly what I was looking for!

Lousy icemaker

Have purchased two Whirlpool refrigerators in the last 24 months. The ice maker has broken on both. Three ice makers replaced and still not working. All my appliances for many decades have been Whirlpool. Not anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bigger But Holds Less

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a month ago, but I wouldn't do so again. It is over 2 cubic feet larger than the refrigerator it replaced, but it holds less because the extra space is in its depth. Hence, the shelves are deeper and harder to get food containers into and out of.
The compressor seems to be very loud -- not like something is wobbling or scraping, it's just loud. So far it is *almost* loud enough for me to place a service call

So Far, So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this about 6 months, so far, so good. Will it last 19 years like my last fridge (I moved and that fridge might still be going)? Probably not. The features are handy, it seems well-made, and I find little to complain about. Water filters are expensive, just getting ready to replace the initial one, but based on reviews, they are probably superior to knockoffs. Would not recommend using the water and ice dispensers w/o a filter, especially if you have a lot of calcium and other minerals in your water. Water Taste is also much improved. They could have designed the filter so that it doesn't take up so much room.
I would recommend this to a friend!
