I was planning to purchase a top freezer refrigerator until I visited my son and saw the french door/bottom freezer refrigerator. Decided to check out french door refrigerators on line. I was impressed with the reviews for Whirlpool. I've had my refrigerator for one month and very pleased with the quality, low noise level, and spacious design.

Good buy so far

So far so good. Bottom freezer looks big but with the sliding shelfs its no bigger than our old top freezer/refrig. The refrig is great with lots of room on the doors. Outside stainless steel needs care or it will rust. Not true SS. Good SS a magnet will not stick.....like most restaurants equipment. So if u don't want to take care of your new investment, I suggest u bring a magnet with u before buying your next kitchen equipment.

I Don't Know What Do with the Extra Room

I was excited to have a unit with a freezer on bottom. I am just not sure what to do with all the room! It was a great investment for the new house I purchased. One exception - light bulb went out in first month. It is difficult to find in hardware store where it was purchased. Found something similar.

Great Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Updated a 20 year old fridge to this one. Was very impressed. Love the LED lighting inside the unit. Freezer drawer will take some getting used to but great for whatever you put in the freezer.
