Wonderful refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this awhile back to improve storage of refrigerated items. This one has worked so well, with lots of room for all items, including tall tea holders, fruits and veggies, etc.

Good, with some issues

We purchased this model to replace a top-freezer. This model had somewhat favorable reviews. It seems to cool well and keeps ice cream hard. The biggest issue we have with it is that the interior design is not particularly well-thought out...ie, the double doors both have to be open to access the large, bottom drawer, and that drawer is HUGE. It's deep front to back, and things tend to get shoved to the rear of the drawer and forgotten. Also, the two veggie drawers are nicely sized, but you also have to open BOTH French doors to access them; if one wanted to open just the door and the drawer on the right, it won't clear the seal at the left door. This is a pain, because not opening both doors is supposed to be one of the features that makes this model energy efficient. It would be more convenient if one could open one door to access one veggie drawer and part of the bottom drawer. Also, while the door pockets will hold a gallon of milk, they are not sized to conveniently hold taller things like salad dressing bottles, one has to maneuver them around to get them in and out of the pockets. Also, the shelves are easy to move, but they don't have a lip at the back so items can fall off the shelf and down to the back of the drawers. Some of the reviews said this fridge is noisy. We have ceramic tile floors and the fridge does make noise while running and also when the ice dispenses, but it doesn't seem any louder than usual. The freezer baskets tend to be a bother, things seem easier to find when one can look at a stack on a shelf rather than digging through things piled in a basket. Opening the large bottom drawer then pulling out the top basket just to get ice cubes is also more of a bother than the smaller top-freezer door.The machine cools worlds better than the previous unit that it replaced, so, it's performance rating is excellent at this 6-month mark. Also, regarding installation: the fridge dimensions are shown on the site, but they don't really show that the doors are a good couple of inches taller than the fridge itself. We had a cabinet remodeled to fit the overall height, but we wouldn't have had to if we had known that the actual fridge height was different from the door height.

Great Fridge

I love all the open space and the wide shelves compared to the old cramped side by side. I also like having the pull out drawers for the freezer on the bottom since I don't go in them as much as the fridge. I would recommend to anyone who cooks a lot or has parties where you need space for platters of food.

It has lots of space on the shelves. However, it seems to have less door shelving space than a single door. I also like the bottom drawer freezer. I bought during the holidays and got a great price!

The stainless finish is beautiful and curved lines of doors & drawer are classy. We've had this for a couple of months and there is a noticeable difference on foods freshness and extended "shelf-life", especially fruits and vegetables. The 2 door system works especially well with the sealing 'flap' on the left door. The freezer drawer is well lit and with 2 drawers it is easy to access & organize. I would definitely recommend this product.
