Almost everything is right

Looks great, lots of room, love the double doors. We measured carefully and it was tough navigating through the house to get it into the kitchen and they had to take the handles off the doors, but once installed it's perfect!We have not tried the icemaker yet, so I cannot comment on how well that works. The only cons we have:- noise. while not a problem, it's definitely louder than our 20+ year old GE fridge it replaces. We have had houseguests that notice it too. It's not a problem for us, there's enough noise around here that a little extra fridge noise is the least of our worries.- build quality of drawers/bins. their is a lot of flex in the fridge drawers that makes me worry about longetivity, but we'll see. Also, the long drawer with the lid at the bottom of the fridge will "catch" on the crisper bins above it if they aren't closed exactly right, I'm worried a kid will open it too energetically and snap it, but we'll see.Also, the roll-out freezer door has some flex to it if you don't push or pull it exactly center-on. Maybe this is by design to handle installations on un-even surfaces, I don't know, but it makes me concerned about longevity after 1000+ open/close cycles.I would still purchase this unit again, it fits perfectly, cools great, looks great, and has all the room we need.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge because it was the only reasonably priced french door unit that was in stock and our 20 year old unit had just died. We did not know what to expect because the on line reviews are all over the place. After we had it a few days, my wife stood in front of it, opened the doors and exclaimed "Ï really like our new fridge". That made me quite happy and I am also quite pleased with it. We could not have chosen a better unit in stock or not.

exactly what we were looking for

We moved in to our newly built house in July '14. Since we needed a new fridge to compliment our new kitchen we searched for the perfect one for our use. This 25 cu. ft French door was the obvious choice for us. We love the ability to customize the shelving on all aspects of the fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator as my first major appliance for my first house. This is a great value for the price! The shelf space in the top refrigerator part is awesome! The freezer space can be limited if you buy or freeze a lot of food, but sufficient for a small family. I choose not use the ice maker due to not having water on that side of my kitchen. Simple to use and very nice looking!
