Solid product but design could be improved

We bought this fridge in May when our other one broke and we've been pleased overall with the space and configurations. But the design could be better. The full width drawer seems to be cheaply made and the lid frequently pops loose. Deserves to be more durable and I'd like to see it designed with flexibility to be split and pulled out half side at a time so both doors didn't automatically have to be opened. Also, the freezer drawer should be latched such that it comes out with the freezer door since most common reason for opening is to access ice tray. Convertible shelf that retracts to half depth should be offered in this model to accommodate tall bottles.

Very happy with my new french door frIdge. A little bit more noise but not terrible. I would recommend as this is a nice looking and very functional refrigerator. Happy.

The left door does not close if you close the right door 1st I would not buy this again. No alarm to tell you door is open.
