Plenty of space for large items

Attractive, and plenty of room

works great- keeps fiod cold- drawers and door compartments are sizeable and nice. Freezer drawer on bottom was new to us. It's great! Hard to fit an ice cream cake in safely, but it can be done.

Love my new French Door Fridge

I would rate this a 4.5 only because of the fact that the left hand door when opened separately has to have a little extra nudge when it is closed. On two occasions my husband and I have found the door slightly ajar. We need to get into the habit of giving both handles a nudge to shut when only one door is opened.

Had to Purchase too soon

We purchased a whirlpool WRF535SWBM recently to replace an Amana - AFD2535FES we had purchased when we built our house in 2008. The Amana was part of the whole kitchen package we had selected at the time.This purchase was necessary because about 4 months ago the Amana defrost cycled failed - we had it repaired - control board replaced - for about $200 - about a month after the repair it failed again, but not in the same way, so we'd be looking at least another $200 or more. we decided to purchase this one. The Amana brand was no longer available with the internal filtered water, but this Whirlpool was.What we did not realize was that the new unit did not come with a butter compartment on the door, the shelves did not pull out, nor were they spill proof and the bins did not have liners as the old one did.Fortunately for us, the dealer that sold us the new unit allowed us take all the old parts, which we have installed in the new unit.We really like the unit with the only drawback being that we would expect it last longer.

good fridge

Like others have said, the ice maker is a bit noisy, but it is dropping ice cubes, so that is to be expected. Kind of wish we had waited for the one with the internal water dispenser to come back in stock. I am surprised how much I miss that. Quite happy with the purchase so far, though!
