Everything we hoped it would be.

First time we went with the French door, freezer on the bottom style. Love having the refrigerator part on the top, so I'm not bending over to see in the part I use the most. The doors hold a lot, and the glass shelves are very easy to move into the best configuration for us. Very happy with the fridge so far.

A perfect fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased a new home and needed a refrigerator. My girlfriend was specific in what she wanted; French door, bottom drawer freezer. The other appliances were stainless steel, so that was a must. My only requirement is that it not break the bank because... We'd just bought a house. We got everything we needed with this fridge. It's a perfect fit.

I am pleased with this refrigerator except for one thing, you must always close the left side door first. The mechanism on the top of this door does not adjust itself to close if the right side door is closed first. It requires just a bit too much planning to close a refrigerator door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought a Whirlpool laundry pair when I purchased my house 13 years ago. They are still going strong with no problems whatsoever. So when I needed a new fridge (the old one was a 25 year old Whirlpool that came with the house), I read all the reviews, shopped several other brands, prices, features etc. and I kept coming back to Whirlpool. It just makes sense to purchase a product with this kind of staying power. In the future I won't waste my time shopping, I'll just get another Whirlpool.

Bought this over a month ago. Like that I can open HALF of the refrigerator as I do most frequently. Fridge on top and freezer on bottom works for me very well. Can SEE all so no "green" surprises! Shelves very adjustable. So far just what I wanted.
