French doors to the rescue

We recently upgraded to this model after owning a side by side design and having come to realize that although the sizes were similar in terms of capacity the, the functionality and ease of access of the French door design is so much better that it was worth the investment even though the previous model was working just fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pretty loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this frig 2 weeks ago.Good things are that it works, layout is pretty good ( room on the side door for gallon of milk, movable shelves), frig drawers are nicer then you'd see from the cheapest models.Bad things are the fan noise that this thing puts out is pretty loud. This isn't just once in a while either as the frig is cooling down more after opening it, it's non-stop fan whirl. Unfortunately it's not something you can really notice when you're looking at a row of 15 frigs at a store. It's probably 4x louder then my previous frig of 10 years (a guess).Second issue is the tray within the freezer (that holds the ice) is cheaply designed to so as not to be on rollers; it pulls out pretty hard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Satisfied - Whirlpool 25 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerat

This is our first French Door Refrigerator. We've wanted one for years, and have researched a lot of brands and models. We've had the fridge for about a month, and it is everything that was advertized, no unpleasant surprises. I like that we did not have to hook up the ice-maker (just flip the cube sensor bar up). It is quiet, and the doors hold large containers like gallon milk jugs. No, it does not have a dedicated egg or butter compartment, but I do not consider that a negative. Because of the Energy Star rating, we are getting a $50 rebate from our power company. So all around very happy with the unit.

Good Price & Nice Fridge!

My husband & I weren't looking for extravagance, but for a simple, clean looking refrigerator that had easy access & good storage space. Well, we got just what we wanted in this "Whirlpool 25 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator. The doors adjustable shelves provide adequate storage for a few bigger items like milk, soda, water, as well as some space for dressings and other stuff. The bottom drawer in the refrigerator is great! Plenty of room for platters and whatever you want there. The 2 veggie bins are roomy also. The air filter, that should be replaced every 6 months, does it's job by keeping your veggies & fruits from decaying so fast.The bottom freezer was a question mark for me and has proved to be very convenient and has quite a bit of storage space with the 2 wire bin draws. Comes with an Ice Bin for the Ice Maker. Each drawer comes with a divider. I wish it had at least 1 more moveable and adjustable divider for each draw. That's just a personal preference.The exterior of the refrigerator is simple and clean looking. The sides are textured and the doors & freezer drawer are a smooth white finish.It's also a pretty quiet refrigerator.Very nice!

Perfect For Our Home

We are very pleased with the unit. It is quiet, looks great, has very good internal lighting and plenty of space to hold all of our refrigerated and frozen products. The unit has plenty of features but not an excessive amount of them. We did not want a fully loaded model so this unit was perfect for our needs.
