Roomy Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fiancée and I bought this refrigerator 2 months ago. We are very happy with the widened, extra vegetable/fruit drawers and how fresh our food stays. I highly recommend this refrigerator to anyone who cooks a lot and plenty of room.

Done with the "happy dance"!

I did the "happy dance" several times waiting for our new frig to be delivered.We had had had our old side by side one forever!! I absolutely love it, and even my husband said out of the blue one day recently "I am sure enjoying our new refrigerator!! You can actually see what's in it and it is so user friendly. I love the drawers and the pull out freezer at the bottom. I am one happy consumer of this wonderful product and will continue to do the "happy dance" (as my husband calls it) for years to come.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Use of Internal Space

It looks great. The interior is laid out well - great use of space. It's a bit smaller than our previous refrigerator, but seems to hold as much food. I bought this refrigerator almost 2 weeks ago when a power surge during the night fried one of the circuit boards in our old refrigerator (NOT a Whirlpool). The reason that it's important to point out that our old refrigerator was not Whirlpool is because while the repair to our relatively new, previous refrigerator, would have definitely been the more reasonable cost option, the part had to be ordered from the factory and would not be available for almost 4 weeks. So, my family would have been without a refrigerator for nearly 4 weeks... starting 2 days before we were hosting our extended family for Thanksgiving! The first refrigerator my wife and I bought together was a Whirlpool and we received great service from that refrigerator... the people who bought our house asked for it in the offer contract. So, we've had 2 other brands in between then and now. So happy to be back with a refrigerator that I can have confidence in knowing if I ever need parts, I will be able to get them in a reasonable amount of time. However, I doubt we'll have to worry about that for many years. I do have to admit that I miss having water and ice in the door... but otherwise, I have nothing but positive things to say about this purchase.

What a relief!

Our Whirlpool refrigerator purchase followed five years of trying to cope with a Korean brand. Now instead of sudden loud noises we have a soft hum, and instead of ice building up in the refrigerator and water dripping on the floor we have dryness everywhere except in the foods, which keep their moisture. I don't know how you built such a great refrigerator, but now I know it is not a given, it requires great design. Keep it up, Whirlpool!

We are very happy with our purchase. We did have a problem with freezer that resolved on its own. Light had gone out and defrost wasn't working for a day.
