Some cooling space for a growing family

My wife and I are expecting our first child later this year, and after our old refrigerator died in July we started the hunt.After reading many reviews, visiting a few show rooms, and asking repairmen/salesmen what brands they recommend...whirlpool kept coming up.We purchased over Labor Day, and have been very happy with this fridge since day one. The French doors allow for less obstruction when opening the door, but also allow plenty of storage. The fridge feels very spacious when open. The freezer is spacious and makes ice quickly (full bucket in about two days.This model can also be placed flush with its back to the wall (vents from below) which is another great space saving feature. The front and sides are magnetic (even with the stainless steel), which we like. One gripe is that I think it should have come with an additional door shelf...but one can purchase that later.It's only been about a month with the fridge, so I cannot comment on longevity at this point. That said, I really like my new fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the look, easy use, functionality. Large Draw sizes. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that there is not much room space for tall bottles (size as wine bottles or 2 liter soda bottles)

This refrigerator looks great in my kitchen. It's the focal point now. I'm still getting used to the freezer, may be a bit smaller than I'd hoped, but with some maneuvering, I'm able to get everything in. There are separators in the freezer, that may be able to me moved or taken out, which would add a little space. Ice maker makes a bit of noise, but nothing that you won't get used to. We didn't have one before, so it's just an adjustment period.
