Not worth the money

SLOW ice maker! The light switch in the freezer always sticks(freezes), so the light doesn't turn on. There isn't much room in the freezer either. On top of that, the doors always manage to stay just barley open. So you have to remember, to always give them that little extra push.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor craftsmanship

My fridge is been broken the entire time I've owned it. Three months later whirlpool is still refusing to fix their mistake. Too much insulation was put in the back which pushed the inside of the fridge against the shelves which now make the doors unable to close. The motor is constantly running, ruining both the food and my utility bill
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My old one was just out dated and using more electricity than this new one does.I also like the freezer on the bottom too.

Looks good and works great. Two flaws are that the crisper door falls off the hinges and none of the shelves have an edge on the back to stop items from falling down the back

Great French Door Refrigerator for a Good Value!

I have been wanting a French door refrigerator for a long time. I did a lot of research and this Whirlpool was the best value. I love it! It is so easy to use and has so much space! My old side by side had NO freezer space and did not have room for wide items. And it fits in the same wall space as my old one.
