Noisy Icemaker

We have had this refrigerator almost one year. Works as it is supposed to except for a really noisy icemaker which is unsettling when it starts banging.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Fervent Wish Comes True

Delighted to have this fantastic refrigerator now serving this household. Had been wanting a French Door refrigerator for some time to replace a serviceable but space deprived appliance. Once I had condiments, etc. in place, it became a joy and a pleasure to open a door or drawer to retrieve/replace what was needed. I truly enjoy the ability to see through the shelves and into the fruit & salad ingredient crispers. Very easy to keep clean with a simple wipe when the need arises.My primary need was for more freezer space that had better access on the bottom. This model does more than meet that need. Love the sliding shelf that allows one to view most of what is in the freezer.I had a space restriction that required adequate room to open the right hand door without bumping into another small appliance on a different kitchen wall area. Careful pre-measurements won that round. This model takes up much more space than previous appliance so had to plan very carefully above and alongside. Scored big time! It's roll out feature is a big plus for cleaning purposes. Also had concern for keeping the stainless steel looking good. Used the cleaning cloths sold just for this purpose and followed directions for proper wiping techniques.I do notice one small drawback and that is "sweating". Occasionally see water drops on the door seal and elsewhere but the information says this is a normal occurrence. As long as it doesn't start dropping to the floor I'll stay happy.Until I've lived with this gem a bit longer I can only give my thoughts for a month ortwo. To date, it's all good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The features offered are priced twice as much on others brands. Very happy with this unit. I think it does need some stops on the wheels so I don't move the fridge every time I pull open a door, but otherwise great!
