Ice maker is a problem and ice found in bottom of freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, this has been a disappointment. It runs way too cold and things have ice on food of the back of the shelves. I had to call for service on the ice maker and I can see sheets of ice on the bottom of the freezer. I am dreading going through getting a new appliance fixed, having strangers in my home and hoping they w/be nice. :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this unit 2-3 months. It looks very nice, is quiet, and I like the shallow cabinet. The ice maker did not work from the start. On the 4th visit, it was finally replaced with a functioning unit and I used ice cube trays until then. Now it works well. The doors are a little out of line but not a functional problem - just doesn't look right. The left door has to be closed before the right one or it will not close tightly. It does have a nice alarm to warn you when a door is ajar. I don't see the reason to have an internal water dispenser but it does dispense water that is very cold. I did not want a door dispenser for water and ice. They use too much space and I have no kids. I don't need much from a refrigerator-freezer and this unit will be fine, for a single man.

Cons: inconvenient door design new ice maker did not wo

The fridge has lived up to the reviews. I like the counter depth so it isn't intrusive in the kitchen. It is quiet and I like the interior h2o dispensor. Fridge is well organized. The only downside is that the freezers is a bit small...however that is not an issue as I don't purchase a lot of frozen foods. We are very happy with our purchase.

One of the best changes was upgrading to the French Door refrigerator. Despite some glitches (first needing a new handle - 1st one was dented - and now waiting for a new door - one side is defective - I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this refrigerator. Everyone who comes to "inspect" my changes, gets a thorough "tour" of my kitchen and that includes showing off the refrigerator!
