Purchased a couple of months ago, and last week the freezer door froze shut. We had to turn off the entire unit and thank goodness a family member let us put our stuff in their fridge or we would have lost hundreds of dollars worth of food. It finally de thawed and we got it open, we no longer use the ice maker because we associated that to be the culprit of our problem. Thank goodness haven't had any issues since. I love the fridge, it's got lots of room and I can see everything when I open it, so food doesn't get lost and go bad. The freezer on the other hand is a lot smaller than I was used to, and it's deep, so food does get lost. I like to freeze big stuff like milk and bread, so this isn't the right fridge for people who freeze a lot of food.

I waited a few months after I received the "frige" to write this review to insure that all the "bugs" were gone.
It's a great machine except for two drawbacks.
First, I wish that the "deli" tray, at the bottom of the refrig section, was split. As it is, I need to open both french doors in order to pull the deli tray out.
Second, ice builds up on the top of the freezer drawer just below where the two frig doors meet. This causes the freezer drawer to be difficult to open and the freezer light swith to freeze in the closed position; meaning no light in the freezer.
I especially like the "counter depth" feature. In addition to making the kitchen a little bigger, we can see what's in the far reaches of the interior.

I bought this Kitchenaid refrigerator after my previous one went out, only after nine (9) years. Kitchenaid was the only one that fit the space. I hope to be more lucky this time, however, I understand items are no longer built to last. The Kitchenaid model I have now seems to have more space inside. Always liked the freezer on the bottom. Can you please provide good maintenance instructions, since the provided booklet is insufficient.

Fridge looks good. Good space in side. Only concern is a few issues with the water dispenser - slow and hard button to press.

This is the worst refrigerator ever. Water dispenser has a frozen clunking sound each time I use it. First week I had it freezer temp went up and defrosted my entire frozen goods. Freezer still has frost empty onto my wood floor each time I open it. I do not trust this product at all. Also too small (20 cu ft) not enough. Very disappointed in this refrigerator overall.

This fridge was chocen because of its dimensions, freezer soace, stainless decor. I am wondering one how to use the humidity control. The Fridge is used in Hilo,Hawaii, We always have high humidity, There is a humidity control. i leave it on. I plan to see if this option makes a difference in the ekectric bill cost. I am thinking it will be a posiitive feature.

This fridge is a catch. It is very difficult to find a counter depth fridge like this one in this price range! We love the look, and all the options for shelf moving, etc...our only issue has been getting used the the drawer for a freezer. It is harder to fit large items (we like to buy in bulk). Everything else has been wonderful.
