Nice features and well-organized space. The doors were showing rust spots almost immediately, however, which would not come off. KitchenAid replaced the doors quickly.

If I could rate this refrigerator at 0 I would. I understand it has now been "transitioned" to a new model. I wonder if the new model addresses the problems of this model. Such as:
1)when you close one door, the other often opens, and remains open; 2) the freezer bin has open basket so when you open the freezer, ice particles (or whatever) drop on to the floor, requiring cleanup 3)ice forms in the freezer, between the door and the basket, eventually building up until it is difficult to open the freezer drawer. I suspect that if we left it long enough, it may freeze shut. This refrigerator is new for us but so bad that we have considered getting another and putting this in the garage as a back up. However, the 3 problem (ice forming in freezer) causes us to think it may be too problematic to even use it for that.

Bought this around 3 months ago, as my old fridge died one night, and we had this one picked out already as we were getting ready to redo our kitchen. The french door style is very convenient, having to only open the side we keep the most used items on. Plenty of room for drinks, food, veggies - whatever. Keeps temp. well, and the freezer is very spacious as well. No complaints here.
