Really great but does show fingerprints!

My only complaint with this refrigerator is that the main surface of the door does show fingerprints. Obviously this is to be expected with stainless steel, but I have yet to really find a solution. We're getting ready to try Pledge. The flip up storage area below the two drawers does not open all the way when one door is still closed. Minor detail, but something I find myself keep trying to do.

I spent days researching counter-depth refrigerators to replace my 20-yr. old side-by-side. Staying away from the big-box retailers (where sales reps appear to be limited in their product knowledge), I headed to my local appliance store. The well-experienced sales person steered me directly to the Kitchen-Aid model. It fits perfectly, has a crisp, pristine look, ample storage space (especially on the doors) and the adjustable shelves are great. I didn't consider that the freezer space would be less than my former side-by-side; I'll simply have to be more mindful when buying items for freezer storage.
I would have rated this product 5 stars, except there's an intermittent noise coming from the ice maker. Since I have no plans to use it, I wish there was a way to disconnect the mechanism that causes the noise. Also, perhaps with use the freezer drawers will slide in and out with greater ease.

I love this refrigerator! It looks great. I really like the counter depth. But my very favorite thing is how quiet this is. I cannot stand when a refrigerator makes noise - and this one does not make a peep.

This is my first time for a French door refrigerator and I couldn't be more pleased than with all the space available and I especially like the deli/ cheese pull out drawer. This is so convenient. The freezer on the bottom makes sense for the way I live and I am amazed how easy it is to reach frozen items. I looked at many brandss and KitchenAid provided the best looking appliance and it just looks so much more expensive in its construction.

Love the dual-open doors and lower freezer drawer. The drawers and cubbies on the interior are useful too, and flexible should your needs change. The exterior is good looking and suitable for any kitchen or cabinet style. The water dispenser I'd located inside the left door, leaving the front with nice clean lines. And it's made in America!

Love my new French door Kitchen Aid frig! This is a high end frig with features that seem to cost more in other versions. Love having the filtered water button just inside the door, separate settings for the veggie and fruit drawers, good looking internal lights, and the freezer and icemaker on the bottom. It's a good looking appliance that delivers.
