Bought this refrigerator about a month ago. We like it. Freezer space is limited due to ice service located there. But it has a great ice maker, unlike our previous fridge. Refrigerator space is roomy and plenty for our small household.

Door doesn't shut.

So far it works well - we've only had it 2 months. My complaint is if you open both French doors, you have to be sure and close the right one first, otherwise the left side won't close completely. I found this out when I saw the left door open about an inch after using it the first day we had it. If you open only the door on the left, which you should be able to do, you have to also open the door on the right a few inches in order for the left door to close. If I had known this before buying it I wouldn't have considered getting this particular model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The refrigerator portion of the unit is fairly adequate. Produce & fruit bins are small. Wish the deli tray was not one long unit, but split in the middle to access it from either door. Freezer portion is so small. My personal feeling is that it should not be so compartmentalized & that the homeowner determines how the freezer food fits. I will certainly have to adjust my grocery shopping for freezer items. Where do I now put large frozen pizzas? The smaller ice cubes are great, easy to handle. It is a total adjustment from a 25 c.f. side-by-side for a family of 4. Must say however that this unit looks great in my new kitchen.

I have been using it for a while and I like it. Only problem: food freezes in refrigerator when it is set at 38 degrees. I must set it at 40 degrees minimum.
Must be very careful to close both French doors well.

Replaced a twelve year old side by side with this French door refrigerator. Fits into my space perfectly and looks beautiful. It is a smaller unit than I had before but my family is smaller, just the two of us. So far perfect size. Quantity of ice is fine for our needs and I have no trouble with the freezer door.

We shopped for weeks for our new refrigerator and specifically needed a counter depth model. We weren't interested in a water/ice in door option as we feel it takes up too much room inside, however we did want top notch quality, looks and lighting and got all of that and more with this refrigerator. It is absolutely beautiful and real stainless steel! Any finger prints wipe right off in seconds. Roomy inside and exceptionally well lit. We got a great price and couldn't be happier with the purchase. We will definitely buy Kithen Aid again as our other appliances wear out.

We needed a counter depth refrigerator and Kitchen Aid was the best we looked at. The outside design is great and we really like the cold water from inside the refrigerator. We feel we have more room inside because there is not an ice maker and water on the outside door. Overall, we are very happy with Kitchen Aid. The only negative was that a screw was missing from the refrigerator door, and a screw had to be ordered and put in.
