I bought this because the counter depth unit does not stick out so much in my galley-style kitchen. I also wanted the freezer on the bottom and cold, filtered water. I think this unit was very expensive, but it did have the features I wanted, and I wanted black (do not care for stainless steel, which is easy to find).

We bought it several months ago when our old one died. It is incredibly energy efficient and cut our electricity bill. It is very well laid out and very easy to use. The freezer and ice maker work well and the shelves are easy to organize.
