[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great unit EXCEPT fot the water dispenser inside the door. Whoever designed this feature never tried to use it!!! First of all, I use the filtered refrigerated water for coffee making. To keep the door oped long enough to fill the coffeepot is a waste. Second of all, it takes 2 hands now. One hand to hold a glass and the other to push the button. Seriously? I put a water filter in my sink and abandoned this sillyness.
Pros: Innovative, easy to use, Design, Performance
Cons: water dispenser is poorly designed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At 3 years and two months, this refrigerator started getting ice on the plastic freezer floor. If the ice gets too high, water spills onto the wood floor. My son and a friend have the same model - larger capacity and have the same problem. It's a "known" issue. Do I really think we're the only 3 people this has happened to? Whirlpool will only pay for parts. I have to call their recommended service and pay $90 for the service call and diagnostics. I don't need diagnostics. All I need is that they bring the part and install it (in hopefully less then an hour) because I have to pay for labor. Of course, this lemon is discontinued.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator very energy efficient: having H2O dispensor inside refrigerator - makes it more energy efficient and allows more capacity for storing food; different adjustments for veggie's and fruit; etc.
It has a great design: Counter-depth allows for more room in the kitchen, overall, but other features still allow lots of capacity for storing food; freezer on bottom is easy to access and baskets make it easy to organize food being stored - - also, no bending down each time you pull something from the cooling part of the refrigerator; upper, french doors allow for storing wide platters, but you can only open one door as needed; sliding shelves; door alarm; temperature control; etc. making using it easy and convenient.
Very happy, overall. Only draw back has been the ice maker - it is a little particular and I ended up having it replaced about six months into the purchase - over the last two months, no real issues. Other, slight, draw back is the cost of replacing the H2O filter.
Pros: Design, easy to use, Innovative, Convenient Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Counter-depth is the best, refrigerator keeps food so much fresher than later models, and the best part, it fit our budget and our electric bill was lowered.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's the little things in life....like a beep telling me I've left the door open or the great tasting filters water. It's sharp looking and well designed. I'd recommend this product for sure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like this refrigerator very much. Although we wanted to swap a shelf that holds bottles to a standard door shelf and had to pay an extra $65 thru Kitchenaid.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Design
Cons: bottle shelf for the door should be an option
I would recommend this to a friend!
