[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a unit with the dual evaporator/dual compressor. Unable to find that, we 'settled' for a unit that had most of the features we wanted. Another disappointment, was the push button for the internal water dispenser. Very hard to operate - even with BOTH hands. Identical to our previous Jenn-Air. Additionally, the door handles didn't match, so I ordered replacement handles and put them on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I liked how all the appliances matched, however, as sleek as this refrigerator looks I am unhappy with its operation. There is a loud popping that you can here throughout the house. I think its during the ice making. The water dispenser inside the refrigerator is difficult to operate and is slow. I wish I would have purchased the refrigerator with the ice and water dispenser in the door. I wish I had my old refrigerator back !!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our kitchen remodel earlier this year included new stainless steel appliances, including replacing our 19 year old white KitchenAid side by side refrigerator which was still in great working condition. Our kitchen designer said we should have a counter depth frig. So far the new KitchenAid is great but wish the baskets in the bottom freezer were lined so items could not fall through. I had to line the baskets with plastic. Something to think about with future designs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is great tho, I find the control unit in the middle of the top shelf limits the tall items you can there. Don't know how you would solve the problem.
I think because of that I would be hesitant in recommending the unit to someone else.
The freezer area tends to be smaller than you first think because of the roll-out bins. It seems like there is wasted space under the lower bin that could be put to better use. Ice maker is v good,
The vegetable bins are very handy & I like the warning that the unit gives if a door is not fully closed
