[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge looks great and will be for a small family. Because it is counter depth it is quite shallow and will not hold pans or containers that will fit in traditional units.
It does look nice and keep things cold, but the shallowness of the refrigerator and the freezer offset it for us.
We have also had trouble with the ice dispenser Shen filling cups. It has a tendency to continue dispensing ice after you release the lever and ice falls on the floor. We ALWAYS have a wet and messy floor from that. The ice maker is also very small and never provides enough for the family when we are all together. And to mke it worse, the freezer is not large enough to store the ice bag from the store.
It's also much louder than our previous unit and the door control notifications are not user friendly. It's difficult to learn how to acknowledge the alerts and turn them off when dealt with. Our replace filter light was on for days after we replace the filter before we could figure it out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Should have an alarm if the freezer isn't closed. The alarm on the refrigerator doors are great. Would be nice if there was a tray provided for eggs.

Since I needed a new fridge anyway ( mine was over 25 yrs old!) ... I began searching for counter depth model. This one had all the features I wanted and fit perfectly in the opening. It has taken some getting used to having a smaller fridge, but it is so easy to access all the food and nothing gets shoved to the back and then goes to waste. Easy to get the filtered watered and ice. Great for a small family, but probably not a large family unless you have a 2nd fridge in your utility room like we do.

The high quality stainless steel used in this design is a perfect addition to my kitchen. This refrigerator is very easy to use and the compartments are a perfect size for all my storage needs. The addition of the filtered water dispenser on the inside of the refrigerator is an absolute plus to an already great machine.
