Bought this for our almost 3 year old son for Christmas. He loves it and has been playing with it for hours. He loves painting the birdhouse and using the table saw. So Happy we purchased this!!!!

The directions to put this together are not very good. Feels a bit flimsy. Too many ‘painting’ accessories (paint can, brushes rollers) and not enough ‘builders’ tools.

I have made many Steps purchases for my 4 children over the years however this one was surely disappointing to myself and my 4 year old son. He was so excited when he opened this workbench Christmas morning. That excitement quickly dwindled when he realized as I did that the tools were merely a decoration. There is literally nothing he can do with them. I will need to purchase something separate at a store for him to be able to use the tools.

I’m a little disappointed, shows a lot of wood blocks, only comes with the birdhouse, has a hammer with no plastic nails for them to use the hammer and the front door keeps falling open, will have to put a magnet to keep closed. Don’t feel it’s worth the money.

Broken pieces; doesn't hold up well

The wrench broke on the first day we had it. The light bulb will not turn on and off. it's either permanently on, or off. The nails cannot be "nailed in." Instead, they slip in without the use of a hammer. The screws cannot be screwed into anything. The tools slip off the hangers and do not stay on. However, the birdhouse is awesome though hard to figure out how to assemble. I'm sad b/c I was excited about this product and it is expensive.
