18 month old grandson loves the climber. While he likes the slide, he LOVES coming down and playing with the balls although he sometimes needs help reaching the top levels of the chutes.

When assembled the product didn't sit flat. The slide and steps tocuh the ground bit the middle sections doesn't. I also feel like the slide is too steep, though one of my one year olds have no issue going down it. My one year olds also try to climb the ball drop shelves and end up pulling the unit over onto themselves. Do not assemble in a room you don't plan on keeping it in. It dosen't fit through doors with the water table attached. Lastly, my one year olds pull out the water table plug quite easily and won't leave it alone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
